The renovation experts behind HGTV's newest competition series, "Rock The Block," know a thing or two about pulling off impressive décor just in the nick of time.
The brand-new show features an all-female group of designers (Leanne Ford, Mina Starsiak Hawk, Jasmine Roth and Alison Victoria) competing to upgrade four identical properties and add the highest amount of property value in only four weeks.
The HGTV stars joined us on our show to share their best last-minute Halloween decoration ideas for your home. Whether you're planning a party in a pinch or you just want to spruce up your front porch before the trick-or-treaters arrive, these five cheap and cheerful fearful DIYs take no time at all — but are sure to impress your guests.
1. BAT PHOTO WALL

All you need is a pack of bat stickers and black mesh to transform a plain wall into a fun and spooky photo booth for Halloween.
If you're anything like us, you've been seeing this Halloween décor trend all over Instagram lately. Understandable, because it's a cool effect that is so easy to achieve!
See what we mean?
2. MATTE BLACK + METALLIC GOLD TABLE SETTING

Having a dinner party for Halloween? Pick up clear plastic wine glasses, plates and white flameless candles from your local dollar store. Fill a plastic bowl with matte black paint. Dip the wine glass stems and the candles directly into the paint, gently shake off the excess and let dry.
You can also paint the plates black and purchase gold plasticware. For the finishing touch, use the black plus a metallic gold paint to decorate miniature pumpkins. You can stick with the solid theme or have fun and add patterns.
3. BUTTERNUT SQUASH GHOSTS

Use the tools from a craft store pumpkin carving kit to carve faces in butternut squash — they'll look just like adorable ghosts!
4. RAINBOW GRADIENT PUMPKINS

Paint pumpkins of different sizes and shapes in different shades of pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Arrange in rainbow order (ROYGBIV, anyone?!) and decorate your mantle, stairs or front porch with these cheerful, colorful pumpkins that will stand out among all the orange and black.
5. WIZARD OF OZ DOORMAT

Fill a striped knee-high sock with craft store stuffing and stick it in a black heel. Arrange in front of your doormat for an almost-instant DIY that's perfect for spooky season.
