It’s National Junk Food Day and if you want to celebrate by experiencing your favorite treat in a totally new and different way, try one of these delish recipes featuring junk food!
No. 1: Grandma Ruthie’s Potato Chip Chicken

Adam Perry Lang shares his grandma's potato-chip coated fried chicken recipe that brings him back to his childhood (and we want to go back to his childhood with him for this crunchy, perfectly salty fried chicken!)
No. 2: Buddy Valastro's Leftover Candy Ice Cream

This cleverly simple recipe can be made with whatever candy you like! Just take a gallon of pre-made softened vanilla ice cream and blend with candy! Pop it back in the freezer to re-set, and you’re done!

This decadent burrito features all the flavors of classic Frito Pie, but wrapped in a charred flour tortilla! Rachael adds pico de gallo and avocado sour cream to add even more to the yum factor.
No. 4: Cookies n’ Cream Pancakes

For these amazingly yummy pancakes, just add some crushed-up chocolate and cream sandwich cookies to your pancake batter – easy peasy! Serve with ice cream and chocolate syrup (this might be best served as a dessert).

This dessert is kind of amazing and is sure to wow your kids, your kids’ friends, and even your kids’ friends’ moms. You just melt marshmallow Peeps in the microwave, mix with butter and Rice Krispies, then layer in a loaf pan in alternating colors – rainbow Rice Krispie treats!
Tip: Peeps aren’t just for Easter anymore! You can usually find various holiday-themed Peeps year-round.
