You heard it here first—rollers are BACK. Chris Appleton, celeb hairstylist for stars like JLo and Kim Kardashian, shares his thoughts on the hair trend that's making a comeback on TikTok.
"One of the main reasons that they're searched for at the minute is because it's a great way to get volume," says Chris. And as far as how to do it, "Take them out as you put them in. You just want to take small enough sections that it fits around the roller, but if you put too much hair in, it won't stick, so like maybe an inch or two. Put them in throughout the whole head. I tend to start at the front and end at the back [to] get the volume. It's a great way to get excessive volume," he explains.
"My top tip is the bigger the roller, the bigger the volume," says Chris.
