In celebration of Mother’s Day, Sunny Hostin, who shares two kids — Paloma, 16, and Gabriel, 20 — with husband Emmanuel, tells Rach about her family’s meaningful tradition. 

“I like to garden with my kids because I think it’s interesting for them to learn that dirt makes their lunch,” the host of “The View” says. “For Mother’s Day, their gift to me is that we start our garden.” 

“We get out and plant,” Sunny adds. “We also have beehives on our property, and if it’s time, we will smoke out our bees and collect our honey.” 

Speaking of her loving kids, Rach also surprised Sunny with a special Mother’s Day message from Paloma and Gabriel themselves! Let’s just say, things got emotional. Watch the video to see Sunny’s reaction.
