This makeover had been in the works for over a year because of the pandemic—and now our viewer Tiffany is finally getting the chance to give her husband Wade an extreme makeover, with the help of Carson Kressley, an OG member of "Queer Eye's" Fab Five.
After 25 years of working for the United States Postal Service, where he wore shorts every day—even through the winter—and wasn't too focused on his looks, Wade is now studying to be a commercial real estate agent, so it's time to step up his game, his wife thinks. "What better way to start your career than with a makeover," says Tiffany.
*Cue Carson Kressley*
"Wade is a fantastic personality, but he also wears socks with sandals, so something is going to change today," Carson quips. "The goal of any kind of makeover is what I like to call a 'make-better,' so we're going to take all the great things about Wade, and amplify those, and bring out the best because you do have a great personality, amazing hair, a lot of fabulous things."
With Carson's help, Wade ditches the long hair (Gretchen and Connor from Oscar Blandi chopped his hair right on our show!) and the socks-with-sandals look—and his final fashion-forward makeover leaves Tiffany and Rach fully impressed.
"You look young, cool, you really look fresh," Rachael says to Wade when he walks out for the big reveal.
"I think he looks very comfortable, he looks extremely handsome," Tiffany says. "It's almost like I'm looking at a different person. It's the same guy, but it's a different person almost. He looks fantastic. I'm so happy for you. I'm so proud of you."
There's no question Wade is ready to make some big real estate sales in that power suit from Suitsupply.
