Every year, anchor of ABC "World News Tonight," David Muir has a “back-to-school” ritual, and he's sharing one of his favorite moments with us.
Even though it’s been more than 20 years since the journalist has had a first day of school himself, Muir loves going out and talking to kids before their first day of school.

"Are they nervous? Are they excited? What are they concerned about?" he asks the young students.
This year, Muir met the precocious Jack who shared a few kind words about his new teacher. Watch below!
"I just like her," he said. "She's friendly, she's nice, she's not too, too strict, but she's strict."
Sounds like a perfect teacher to us, Jack!
