Getting to sleep is one thing, but staying asleep through the entire night is another — and many people struggle with it. (Raise your hand if you know what we're talking about and your sleep pattern consists of waking up at the same exact time every single night. 🙋‍♀️)

"Your body is out of fuel," the doc explains.

Think about it — if you eat dinner around 6:30pm and wake up consistently around 3:30am, like one of our studio audience members, you've already gone 9 hours without fuel at that point.

Luckily, Dr. Breus has an easy way to add fuel to your system before bed and keep blood sugar stable throughout the night. About 30 minutes before bed, he suggests either having one teaspoon of raw honey (you can also have it in tea) or a cup of guava leaf tea.
