Everyone remembers hosting their very first Thanksgiving -- probably because it didn’t go so well. The good news is, you’re not alone! Rach and our friends from “Chopped,” Ted Allen, Marc Murphy, and Amanda Freitag, shared their funny (and not-so-funny) memories of Thanksgiving with their friends and family, and trust us -- they’re not all as glamorous as you think.

Take Rach’s sister for example -- known for being the star baker in the family (click here to see why Rachael doesn’t bake), she has been banned from cooking the Thanksgiving turkey. Let’s just say her first try led to a sticky mess. And Freitag -- a notable chef who spent her first Thanksgiving crying in her galley kitchen. Tiny kitchen + tiny stove + 15 guests = what could possibly go wrong? Find out in the video above!

By the way -- we don’t suggest ever celebrating Thanksgiving with your friends in Amsterdam. Once you hear Murphy’s story, you’ll be thankful in a whole new way. Gobble, gobble!
