Moms — you’ll appreciate this!
Jessica Alba swung by our kitchen table to reveal how she and her family are feeling about welcoming a baby boy — and she did not shy away from the realness!
When asked if having a boy was part of the motivation behind trying for one more child, Jessica joked, “For me, the girls love their dad. I wanted someone to love me more.” (LOL!)
Dollar Store Halloween DecorationsJessica also talked about her family’s Halloween plans — and whether she’ll try to sneak some of her girls’ candy.
“Oh, yeah. 100%!” she says. “I mean, one of the best parts of having a kid is stealing from them, torturing them, embarrassing them. It’s so fun!”

Also on the show, Jessica surprised a new mom at her home in New York City to help clean her apartment with her new line of Honest Company cleaning products, and she demonstrated some of her cleaning techniques in-studio!

RACHAEL: Are your girls excited for baby brother?
JESSICA: They are. My 6-year-old, she was worried about being a middle child, but she gets to be a big sister and a little sister, so she’s stoked about that. And she doesn’t have to compete with another girl.

RACHAEL: Was having a boy part of the motivation behind trying for one more?
JESSICA: Well, you never know what you’re going to get. For me, the girls love their dad. I wanted someone to love me more. When he comes home, they’re like, “Daddy!” It’s like a party. When I come home, they’re like, “Oh, hey mom.” I’m like, “I do everything for you! I cook, I do all the things!”
RACHAEL: Do you have a favorite Halloween candy? Did you steal any from your kids?
JESSICA: Oh, yeah. 100%. I mean, one of the best parts of having a kid is stealing from them, torturing them, embarrassing them. It’s so fun!
