7 Muy Bueno Summer Tacos You Need to Try this Week

Nothing says summer quite like crafting delicious homemade tacos, and we have seven delicious options for you, most of which require little cooking that doesn’t involve your grill.

No. 1: White Chili Turkey Tacos

This is an extremely versatile recipe, because you’re making a healthy white bean and turkey chili as the base for these tacos and can repurpose the leftovers into any number of dishes. You can even make a big batch on the weekend and freeze the leftovers. So many possibilities! Rachael spoons the chili into crispy taco shells, then adds homemade pico de gallo, homemade avocado cream, lettuce and a mild cheese. What more could you want?

No. 2: Lettuce Tacos with Sesame-Cumin Beef

This is one of the two tortilla-free tacos options on this list, but really any of these tacos could be make in a lettuce cup. The star of the show is a marinated flank steak, which is sliced and topped with stir-fried vegetables and sesame seeds.

No. 3: Josh Capon’s Skirt Steak Tacos with Charred Pineapple

Josh Capon’s spicy and sweet chile-marinated skirt steak taco is topped with a charred pineapple salsa for a complex flavor profile.

No. 4: Carne Asada Tacos and Chipotle Guacamole

These carne asada tacos start with a flank steak prepared with a smoky chipotle marinade. To keep going with the chipotle theme, the taco are topped with a chipotle guacamole and garnished with lettuce, lime juice, shaved radishes, onions and pickled jalapenos. Yum!
