We are so in love with the floral letters we’ve seen popping up all over Instagram—so we asked Brit + Co founder Brit Morin to come show us how to DIY our own!
SPOILER ALERT: They may look complicated on the surface, but they’re basically just flowers stuck into foam stuffed inside cardboard or metal boxes -- and the supplies only cost a few dollars!

If that doesn't get you in the mood for love, we don't know what will!
Here’s what you need to create your own floral monogram:
—Cardboard letters (X and O, your person's name, whatever you'd like!)
—A precision knife (to cut off the top of the boxes)
—Duct tape (to waterproof the boxes)
—Flower foam (to keep the flowers hydrated)
—A scissor (to chop the flowers)
And, of course, the flowers of your choice! (If you’re making yours for Valentine’s Day, may we suggest red, pink and white? ❤️)
Watch Brit walk us through the whole (surprisingly easy!) process in the video above.
