You can find a million things wrong with a piece in your home and still not want to get rid of it.
Just ask studio audience members Kerry and Keith!
The couple inherited a loveseat from a friend that fits perfectly in an odd space in their home -- but Kerry can’t stand the material, despite Keith loving it!

"It belongs in a man cave," Kerry says. "It's vinyl-y [and] pleather-y."
So, the duo turned to designer John Gidding from TLC's "Trading Spaces" reboot to find a middle ground -- and of course, he came through!
John showed Kerry and Keith how to reupholster their loveseat with just a quality (and stylish!) piece of fabric and a staple gun.

"I went ahead and I splurged on some beautiful fabric, that -- unlike pleather -- will actually feel good on your skin," John explains.
And get this -- he still spent under $100 on the whole project!
(See the impressive before and after in the video above.)
And now, Keith doesn't have to part with the loveseat and Kerry can feel better about keeping it around.
We sure do love a happy medium!
