Playing Blackberry Sangria


  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 2 plums, thinly sliced
  • 6 to 8 mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup of St. Germain or any Elderflower liquor
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 bottle rose, such as Sancerre
  • A few drops of rose water (optional)


Serves: 1 pitcher


In a large pitcher, muddle blueberries, plums and mint with the St. Germain just enough to release some of the berries juices. Add in lime slices, wine and, if using, a few drops of rose water; stir to combine.

Serve glasses over ice.
