Ingredients

  • 1 box store-bought pasta, prepared according to package instructions
  • 1 cup broccoli rabe, chopped
  • 1 jar store-bought pasta sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • ½ cup shredded cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a medium pot over high heat, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add broccoli rabe and cook for 2 minutes, drain and submerge in a large bowl of ice water. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together pasta, sauce, garlic powder and broccoli rabe. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Pour into a casserole dish or 13x9 baking dish. Evenly spread shredded cheese over top and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
