Kelly Senyei—chef, founder of the Just a Taste blog and author of The Secret Ingredient Cookbook—has mastered the art of feeding large families easy, accessible and affordable food. Serve her irresistible take on pigs in a blanket, made with puff pastry strips and "everything" seasoning mix, in lunch boxes or as a snack or appetizer. Grown-ups love them, too!
Pro Tip from Kelly: If you're using larger hot dogs, or even bratwurst, pinch together two strips of the puff pastry to ensure it reaches all the way around.

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Lightly dust your work surface with flour, then unfold the sheet of puff pastry and cut it lengthwise into ½-inch strips.
Using a paper towel, thoroughly dry the hot dogs. Wrap a strip of puff pastry around each hot dog and place it seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush the puff pastry with the egg and sprinkle it with the seasoning mix.
Bake the hot dogs until the puff pastry is golden brown and cooked through, 15 to 18 minutes. Remove the hot dogs from the oven and serve.
