Gut Renovation author Dr. Roshini Raj believes there's a direct connection between our digestive health and how we age—and improving that starts in the kitchen. According to Dr. Raj, a key goal for gut health is increasing your intake of fruits and veggies to at least five (preferably more) half-cup servings a day. A convenient and cost-effective way to do that, she says, is to stock up on frozen fruits and veggies, which are just as high in nutrients as fresh produce. Turn that frozen fruit into a delicious and healthy treat by making this homemade frozen yogurt. The recipe takes just minutes to prepare and can be done ahead of time.
