Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 pitas, cut into 8 wedges
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

Yield

Serves: Makes approximately 2 ½ dozen chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375˚F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, combine minced onion, onion powder, salt, cumin and garlic powder and mix. Place pita wedges in a large bowl, then drizzle with oil and sprinkle with the spice blend. Using your hands, gently toss until pita is well coated.

Arrange the pita chips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets. Bake until golden and crisp, about 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
