Consider this cocktail an Italian-style white wine spritzer, which Rach's husband John created to go along with her Beer Can-Style White Wine Chicken and Pasta With Green Beans and Kale-Walnut Pesto Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces white wine
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • ¾ ounce simple syrup
  • 2 dashes orange bitters, optional
  • 2 to 3 ounces club soda or seltzer
  • Rosemary sprig, for garnish

Yield

Serves: 1

Preparation

Combine the white wine, Campari, simple syrup, orange bitters (if using), and club soda in an ice-filled wine goblet or Collins glass. Stir gently and garnish with the rosemary sprig.
