Dr. Stork shares that asparagus and mushrooms are high in riboflavin, otherwise known as Vitamin B2. He says that, according to research, people who ate enough Riboflavin had less migraines.

Spinach is high in a substance called lutein, and Dr. Stork shares that, in animal studies, lutein was shown to prevent cholesterol from embedding in the walls of arteries. Avocado, meanwhile, is high in mono-unsaturated fat, which can naturally improve your cholesterol profile.

Dr. Stork shares that pomegranate is high in ellagic acid, and says that it can prevent some DNA damage when a person gets a sunburn. He also says it’s a good idea to rub basil on your body, which has anti-inflammatory properties and can possibly help a mosquito bite feel better. It can also possibly repel mosquitoes!
