Growing up, Harlan Coben says he wasn't allowed to buy toys but he was always allowed to buy books. The author — who has sold over 80 million books in print — tells Rach about his upbringing and how he "was always allowed to read” in his household: “There were always sloppy piles of books on the side of my bed.”
The novelist — who just released his 35th thriller I Will Find You — also remembers the one book he read at age 15 that inspired him to pursue writing. "I think subconsciously I said, 'Wouldn't it be really cool to do this for a career?'"
