9 years ago, we surprised 12-year-old aspiring baker Daniella with a visit from "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro (there were tears!)—and now, we're doing it again. But that's not all.
Daniella is headed to law school this fall, but she never lost her passion for cooking and baking—so much so, in fact, that she started a Facebook recipe group with her sister, Kristina, called "Quarantine Kitchen" during the pandemic. "Quarantine Kitchen" was such a hit that they turned it into a book, In The Quarantine Kitchen—which has already sold out of its first round of copies—with the proceeds being donated to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation Covid-19 Heroes Fund.

Not only did we surprise Daniella with another (virtual) visit from Buddy, but we had even more good news. "Our friends at Nielsen Massey Fine Vanillas & Flavors want to help your cause, so they're donating $5,000 on your behalf, in your names," Rach tells them.
