Emily Post's Great-Great-Granddaughter: So Many Things Have Changed About Etiquette Since 1922

Lizzie Post, great-great-granddaughter of etiquette expert Emily Post, shares how etiquette rules have changed through the years—from splitting the bill to leaving a party early.

Almost 100 years after Emily Post's book, Etiquette in Society, in Business, in Politics, and at Home, was published, Lizzie Post is still carrying on her great-great-grandmother's legacy. "We have a podcast, 'Awesome Etiquette,' where we answer everyday modern questions—and some traditional questions—about etiquette. So many things have changed since Emily's original book...and it's important to recognize these changes," says Elizabeth.

She gets into some of these changes—specifically how to properly split the bill at a restaurant, as well as how to leave a party early without being rude.
