"New Kids on the Block" Singer Jonathan Knight Talks Crying on His HGTV Show

As if being a member of one of the biggest pop bands wasn't enough, "New Kids on the Block" singer and longtime renovation lover Jonathan Knight is giving home renovations a try on his show on HGTV, "Farmhouse Fixer."

"I would renovate houses and put it on my social media and people were curious—asking me if I really do this, so I was like, how can I bring people to work with me and show them the process and what we do? So, five or six years later, I ended up with HGTV and it's just amazing."

Jonathan explains that renovating houses is actually quite similar to being up on stage. "It's like doing an art—and bringing people joy. These homeowners walk into their houses [and] they don't know what to do because it's just so overwhelming, so they just turn it over to us. We go in, do exactly what they want, make it beautiful and they walk in and just start crying—and that's when I start crying. It's so rewarding," says Jonathan.
