Self-proclaimed “weekend warrior” Sam Raimondi shows us a true, two-day home project. The DIY’er (who renovated her entire house while working full-time as a psychologist) teaches Rach how to make wall art that uses leftover scraps of wood and only takes a weekend to complete.
Sam says you can use any type of backer board such as MDF or plywood found at your local home improvement store.

All you do is cut 1x2s into 90 and 45 degree angles by using a miter saw, and then sand everything down. To create the design of your choice, attach the pieces to a melamine board using wood glue and use a nail gun to pin everything down. Let it dry overnight.
