There are few things in life we love more than a good, old-fashioned ice cream sandwich. That being said, we're also big fans of shaking up the classics — and Jeni Britton Bauer, the expert behind Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, is sharing her favorite way to do just that.

Jeni says one of her favorite treats since she was a kid is a "real" ice cream sandwich — she uses a baguette!

Just cut the baguette in half, spread on some vanilla ice cream (or whatever flavor you like best!) and add fresh strawberries or strawberries in syrup.
"It's messy… [but] it's amazing," she continues.
